Principal's Welcome

Dear Camerado Springs Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I am truly honored and excited to join the Camerado Springs Middle School community as your new principal. As someone who has spent many years serving families in this community, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue that work in a new role. While this position brings new challenges, I am confident that, together with our outstanding staff, supportive families, and incredible students, we will make this an exceptional year.

At Camerado Springs, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student is known, valued, and challenged to grow. We believe middle school is an important time for students to discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, and develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6-8, we are proud to provide students with opportunities to think critically, embrace diverse perspectives, and become compassionate, internationally minded learners. Our rigorous academic program, grounded in California Content Standards, encourages curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving while preparing students for future success.

Learning extends far beyond academics. Whether students find their passion through athletics, the arts, leadership, technology, clubs, or service opportunities, we encourage every Wildcat to get involved. Being connected to school through positive relationships and meaningful experiences helps students thrive, and we want every child to feel a true sense of belonging at Camerado Springs.

Our dedicated staff is passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student. We know that strong partnerships between school and home are essential, and we value the trust you place in us. Together, we can ensure that each student is challenged, supported, and inspired throughout the school year.

I am excited to get to know each of you and to build upon the strong traditions that make Camerado Springs such a special place.
